Plenty happened in the City Council meeting for February, including a discussion on the feral cat population in town. We also do a food review of the new pizza offerings at Tucker's Walk Vineyard. We also continue with our coverage of the South Dakota Legislature and boys' and girls' basketball. Please note that FFA Week is happening next week, which includes a Blood Drive, Petting Zoo, and Community Appreciation Breakfast. All of these events are listed in our Community Calendar with more information on Page 12. Also, see Page 9 for information on the Historical Society Bingo night and Relay for Life Kick-off events that are occurring.

Would you like an opportunity to see our newspaper no matter where you are? We have on-line subscriptions! Or, if you prefer that smell and feel of the paper, feel free to contact us or send your check with a note to PO Box 327, Garretson SD 57030 in order to make that happen!

Wondering what else is happening in the Community for this week? You'll find the Community Events Calendar on page 4 in the on-line or paper version, or if you already have a subscription to the on-line paper, you can download it here! Community Events Calendar 2-16-17
