Issue #41 Full Version (subscription required)

In this week's edition, we remember City Council member and longtime Ambulance Service and EMS Vice President and President Tom Lines, who passed last week. Garretson will miss his thoughtful, giving ways. We also profile a new Pastor for the Palisades and FirstĀ Lutheran Churches in rural Garretson and Valley Springs, and the 7th & 8th Grade students visit the Outdoor Campus. The editorĀ encourages you to go see Calendar Girls on their second (and final) week of performances.

Most importantly, we have a full legal publishing of the 2016 Ballot Questions. We encourage you to put your legal glasses on and read fully. In the next two issues, we will be running a few stories and informationĀ on the upcoming election, so you can head to the ballot box educated on the local and state issues and candidates.

Wondering what is happening in the Community for this week? You'll find the Community Events CalendarĀ on page 4 in the on-line or paper version, or if you already have a subscription to the on-line paper, you can download it here! Community Events Calendar 10-20-16
