They’re costumed and getting ready for an audience. The Jesse James Players will be a cornerstone of the Garretson Hometown Christmas.

The Golden Girls was a popular TV Sitcom that won multiple awards in its seven year run. Laugh out loud funny comedy that was earthy and wasn’t afraid to tell it like it was. So for Christmas, the Jesse James players are bringing Golden Girls to life , in an interactive dinner theater show.

“Rehearsals as we lead up to performance have been going really well,” said Director Marcia Gnadt. “We think that people are really going to enjoy a night out and eat a delicious meal! Something I do want folks to know in advance, is this will be a show where audience participation will be strongly encouraged. You will be interacting with the people on stage to figure out who-done-it."

"We plan to perform two nights. The first night, Friday, Dec. 8 will be a Spaghetti Dinner at $20, and the second night will be a full steak dinner for $30, with wine and hors d'oeuvres."

"This will not be a kids show, definitely an adult night out. Get your tickets fast because they’re selling faster. Tickets are available at First Bank and Trust, the Treasure Chest here in Garretson and of course at Family Floors and Furniture in

Brandon. If you have any questions you can call me at Family Floors & Furniture at 605-321-3758. In all, this is going to be a great night and I think people are in for a lot of fun with this show!"

“Anything we can do to make Garretson’s hometown Christmas bigger and better we’re happy to do it,” she said. “Get out, decorate and come see our show!”
