Palisades Chiropractic buys Main Ave building

Dr. Nick Schotzko, owner of Palisades Chiropractic, has purchased the building he has housed his clinic in for the past ten years.

Peoples Insurance, the prior owner of the building, approached Dr. Schotzko with the offer a couple months ago. They intend to continue hosting an insurance agent within the building, but were looking to no longer own it.

Palisades Chiropractic celebrated its tenth anniversary last December.

“Amanda and I grew up here and now I live and work here, and our boys are growing up here as well,” Dr. Schotzko said in December. “I want to say a big thanks to the community of Garretson for supporting me and my family. When we moved back we made a commitment to the community and the community has supported us for the last ten years and I’m very grateful. I’ve helped a lot of people, and had a lot of happy patients, and that’s made that much better when you know you’re helping your friends and neighbors.”

Dr. Schotzko plans to continue working closely with his patients, offering pandemic mitigation measures such as masks and hand sanitizer. He maintains social distancing when not adjusting his patients, and continues his care in his usual calm, affable manner.

Patients are normally very satisfied by his care, appreciating the thought and time he puts into them.

And he is planning for that care to continue for many years into the future. He is open Monday through Friday and on weekends for emergency care.
