Obituary: Theodore “Ted” Sullivan, 76, of Sioux Falls

Theodore “Ted” Sullivan, 76, of Sioux Falls died Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

Memorial Mass will be held 10:30 AM Monday, August 5, 2019 at St. Michael Parish, Sioux Falls.  Memorial visitation will begin at 2:00 PM Sunday with time of sharing at 4:00 PM and a Prayer Service at 4:30 PM all at the church.

Theodore Daniel Sullivan was born January 18, 1943 in Mitchell, South Dakota to parents Matt and Margaret (Feldhaus) Sullivan.  He grew up in Mitchell and graduated from Notre Dame High School.  He then served in the United States Navy during Vietnam from 1962 until his discharge in 1968.

Ted married Angie Mickalowski September 2, 1967 in Mitchell.  After their marriage they moved to Sioux Falls until moving to the Baltic area in 1976.  In 1988 they moved back to Sioux Falls.

Ted worked for the John Morrell night clean-up crew for 22 years and then worked for the Veterans administration for 17 years.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Angie Sullivan, Sioux Falls; his children, Renae (Rob) Nichols, Sioux Falls, Paul Sullivan, Wichita, KS, Michael (Julie) Sullivan, Blair, NE, five grandchildren, Ranessa Nichols, Raeann Nichols, Renecca Nichols, Rylan Nichols, and Katherine Sullivan, five siblings, Robert (Elaine) Sullivan, Mitchell, SD, Judy (Gerald) Forster, Lincoln, NE, Walter Sullivan,  Olympia, WA, Corine (Jerry) Leidholt, Pierre, SD, Daniel (Karen) Sullivan, Olathe, KS and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Keith Sullivan.
