Phyllis Erickson, formerly of rural Valley Springs, SD, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at Bethany Home, Brandon, SD. She was 93.
Memorial services are planned for 11:00am Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Spirit of Truth Lutheran Church, 112 E. Annabelle St., Brandon, SD. The family will be present to greet friends from 5:30 to 7:30pm Friday evening at the George Boom Funeral Chapel, 2500 E Aspen Blvd, Brandon, SD.
Phyllis is survived by three children, Mark (Lynne) Erickson, Nancy (Kevin) Kohler, and Mike Erickson; ten grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Phyllis is also survived by her sister, Shirley (Marlin) Schmidt, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, her sister, Marvelle, and a great-granddaughter, Kinsley.
