Be safe this holiday weekend! The annual fireworks display usually held on July 4 will be held on Saturday, July 6 this year in celebration of the American Legion's 100th anniversary. The public is encouraged to attend the celebration being held throughout the day and to give generously to the free will donation to keep the fireworks display going each year. We also feature Civil War veteran Isaac N Fry, a visiting family from France, and discuss open government progress, plus much more.

There's a lot going on in our community. Keep up with all of it with the Community Events Calendar on page 4 in the on-line or paper version. With your on-line subscription, you can download it here and have it easy to hand! Community Events Calendar 7-4-19
