Thank you to all our readers, we couldn't be a great community news source without you! Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving holiday. Due to the holiday, we are releasing this issue one day early! Please share us with your friends and family, and consider getting a subscription as a gift this holiday season.

How DO you cook a turkey? Let the Garretson Elementary School first grade class tell you how! Also, the school board talked policies, class sizes, and thanked the Garretson School staff during the annual American Education Week. It's also concert season for band and choir. Enjoy the photos (online only) from this past week's Fall Choir Concert. The Main Avenue project between 2nd and 3rd Streets is coming along, with gravel grading and curb and gutter placed.

There's a lot going on in our community. Keep up with all of it with the Community Events Calendar on page 4 in the on-line or paper version. With your on-line subscription, you can download it here and have it easy to hand! Community Events Calendar 11-21-18
