Letter to the Editor: Garretson School Music

Date:

Hello Parents/Guardians, Due to Covid-19 we will be doing our band and choir concerts a little different this year. Prior to this pandemic Mr. Sittig and Mr. Steckler and I decided to do both choir and band concerts on the same night. Since we cannot change dates for our fall concert, here is how we are going to do our November 17th Concert. Starting off in the Old Gym at 6:30pm the Middle School Choir will perform.

At 7:15pm in the Dragons Lair (new gym) the Middle School Band will perform.

At 8:00pm in the Old Gym the High School Choir will perform.

Finally, at 8:30pm in the Dragons Lair (new gym) the High School band will perform.

We are trying this method to provide social distancing for all the concerts. Each concert will be about 30 minutes long.

Hopefully this method will allow parents and family to attend.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email me or Mr. Sittig at or

Thank you,

-Mr. Sittig & Mrs. Brown
