Jesse James Days Road Race Results

On Saturday, June 15, the Garretson Commercial Club hosted the Jesse James Road Race, an annual event that allows any age to participate, whether it’s by walking, running, or bicycling. This year had about thirty participants rise early and get some exercise. Following are the results from the race:
1 mile fastest time: Aliyah Leedy with a time of 8:12, followed by sibling Kaylin with a time of 8:26. Fastest walker was Jordan Carlson, pushing a stroller and coming in with a time of 15:37. The 5k fastest time was runner and cross country coach Jason Bohl along with son Preston on bicycle with a time of 18:56, followed by Ana Wilkison with a time of 21:08. Fastest 5k walkers with a time of 48:53 were Julie Snyders, Lisa and Mark Johnson, Dawn Sorenson, and Marge Stoterau. The 10k had two participants this year, with Alexia Henrickson clocking her 10k race time at 48:45 and Carmen Bohl finishing at 51:25.
