Wanted! Your Parade Entry

Now's the time to plan for your parade entry- over 60 entries are expected, and yours can be one of them. Whether you're a commercial business, a service group, class planner, family reunion planner, or if you have a unique or vintage vehicle or tractor, you're invited to join us in the parade. There's no cost for entry, and items can be distributed along the route! The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 14 with line up happening by Zion Lutheran on Essex and Center Avenue starting at 9:30 a.m. To pre-register, head to https://VisitGarretsonSD.com/jessejamesdays and click on the Parade Registration tab.

Are you a runner or a walker?

The Jesse James Road Race 1mi/5k/10k is looking for you! Dress up and have fun along the Road Race route, or take off and make your best time in the race. All ages are encouraged to participate. New this year! The Garretson Commercial Club will be awarding gift certificates to the top three participants in each category, and fun music and a group warm up will precede the race.

Volunteers needed!

The Garretson Commercial Club thrives off community participation, and volunteers are needed for toddler train walker/drivers, Jesse James Road Race registration helpers, and inflatables wrist band helpers. To volunteer, contact Megan Rollag at Garretson Insurance or Carrie Moritz at Garretson Gazette, or click on the "Volunteers Needed" tab at https://VisitGarretsonSD.com/jessejamesdays.
