Garretson Pool Auction Fundraiser is Aug. 4th

Date:

by Karla Godbey, Garretson Pool Board

Back by popular demand! Mark your calendars and plan to support our community pool by attending this fundraiser!

The pool auction is making a comeback on Wednesday, August 4th. As usual, the auction will be held at the pool grounds, beginning at 6 p.m. Bob Julson, local auctioneer, has once again agreed to donate his time for this event.

Quality used items, along with gift certificates from local businesses will highlight the auction. Homemade pies donated by our local "pie bakers" will be on the auction block again this year.

Donations can be dropped off at the pool beginning in the afternoon of August 4th. Pool board members will be available to pick up donations during the afternoon. See the ad in this issue for contact information.

Concessions will be available throughout the auction. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept clothing, major appliances, TV's, microwaves or computers for this event. Bring a friend or neighbor and join us for an evening of bargains for the treasure hunter!
