First Rate continues to install the new 8” PVC sanitary sewer main and precast concrete manholes. Sanitary sewer services are also being replaced between Sherman Avenue and Oak Drive. First Rate installed new 6” PVC water main, valves, and hydrants on this stretch of roadway as well. The first block of water main has passed a pressure test and is in the process of bacteria testing.

In addition, First Rate is working on grading the topsoil within Phase 1. Once complete, Splitrock Landscaping will place seed, fertilizer and mulch over all disturbed areas.

Next, First Rate will finish installing sanitary sewer main and services and water main between Sherman Avenue and Oak Drive. Once two (2) passing bacteria tests are received, First Rate will begin switching residents from the 2” temporary main to the new 6” water main.
