Every national holiday the American Legion Post #23 and local community organization deploy flags all across Garretson, now to more city streets than ever before. This Labor Day we salute these volunteers who quietly care for their community. Pictured above is Rob Meyer of the American Legion, the Garretson Commercial Club and Humble Hill Winery. Bottom photo is Dan Haygood, musician of Haygood/Hartenhoff’s Palisades Art Gallery.
