Baseball for summer 2020?!

Date:

Baseball excitement is in the air! The sounds of balls clinking against bats and cheering could be heard the evening of Monday, June 29.

It was confirmed that games are starting to be held at the Jaycee’s Sports Complex, and that practices have begun at the Tandberg field for boys’ baseball in groups up to ten. The first home game for the boys’ 15/16 teeners is slated for Thursday, July 9 at 7:00 p.m., followed by a double header on Saturday, July 11 at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. They will be playing their first game this week in Salem, a game that was initially attempted last week but canceled due to severe weather.

Also, word has been received that Garretson will be hosting 15/16 teeners regions this year. Further details will be released as soon as they are known.
