How do I subscribe to the paper?

You have several options! For the paper option, the best method is to stop into our office, talk to us a bit so we can get to know you, and subscribe via cash, credit card or check. Another option is to mail your address information with subscription payment to PO Box 327, Garretson, SD 57030.

Or, you can choose to subscribe on-line using this link. You can have a choice between just an on-line edition, an online + paper edition, or a paper-only edition.

To subscribe to our on-line options

Click the "Pay Now!" button, choose to pay via credit card or Paypal, and then check your email for a sign-up form. This form will allow you to have a username and password that you'll use to view the paper on-line. (Click here if you've forgotten your password.)

While sharing the paper is allowed, more than 3 log-ins from different IP addresses in a month may result in temporary suspension of your account. We apologize if this causes an inconvenience, but subscriptions are a lifeblood for the newspaper! If you require an IP reset, please feel free to contact us.

Current mail subscribers have on-line access too!

If you have a current mailed/physical subscription, you have access to some full articles, limited archive downloads (2 downloads allowed every 5 days), photo galleries, and more. Use the Registration page to create an account and allow for up to 3 business days for your account to be fully activated. An email will be sent when your account has been activated. If your account is not working, please see the answers below, or check your subscription renewal date on your mailed issue, as you may be due for renewal!

I can’t log in!

First, is your issue an incorrect password? The system we use has an unfortunate method of not alerting users if they have typed it in incorrectly. Click here to reset it.

Second, did you create a username/password after payment? If not, check your email (if it's not there, check your spam/junk inbox) for the link we've sent you. If you cannot find that email (for instance, it landed in your spam and is now deleted) please feel free to contact us. We can issue you the email again.

Third, have you been logging into your device from several different locations? I paid, now what?

After payment, please check your email inbox that you used. There will be an email from us that contains a link you'll need to use in order to set up your account. (If you can't find the email, check your junk/spam inbox.) Please remember your username and password combination, as we will be unable to access that information. We can re-send you the email if you are unable to find it.

After you set up your account, you will now be able to access all uploaded issues of the Gazette in a PDF format. You can download and read it right from your computer at your leisure, or view it on your tablet or smartphone.

I want to cancel.

If you have paid via the website, please click here. If you paid in person or through the mail, you may contact us. Please note that end of term will not change unless you wish to donate your subscription, and payments are non-refundable. Any cancellations will have to be renewed manually.
